Fall Clean Up

Neat and Healthy Yards

The essential task of tidying up your outdoor spaces as autumn sets in can be a big chore, especially if you have a number of established trees in your yard, or your neighbor’s. Our fall cleanup service includes removing leaves, trimming plants, and preparing landscape beds for the winter months. When this maintenance is performed, it promotes a neat and healthy landscape while also preventing potential issues such as mold, pests, and decay.

BeforeAfter

Leaf Removal

When the leaves start falling, the cleanup work seems to be continual until the first snow. We will not only remove leaves from your lawn, but we also remove leaves from your landscape, fence lines, egress window wells, and anywhere else they might be caught. We can do this one time towards the end of the season or multiple times throughout the fall to keep your lawn and landscape looking its best.

Plant Trimming

It is important to remove dead, diseased, or injured plant parts at the end of the season so that the plant can go dormant and be ready for regrowth in the Spring. There are several plants that might be in your landscape bed that need to be cut down prior to the winter so they don’t create a large mess in the Spring. Our team will assess your landscape and identify which plants need to be trimmed prior to the first freeze.

Preparing Landscape Beds for the Winter

In addition to removing leaves and trimming plants in the landscape bed, we can also:

  • Weed your garden (optional)
  • Remove spent annual flowers to prevent bugs and diseases from hiding there until spring
  • Add organic matter to the top of your flower bed to provide the plants that go dormant for the winter with nutrients (Optional at additional Cost)
  • Add extra mulch  to help insulate your plants that will go dormant for the winter
